We collected 60 Purses for Dress for Success along with 25 backpacks for Rainbow House at our Sept Meeting.

October 2009, GADAA participated in a Halloween Carvinal with our collegiate chapter from North GA College for 59 little Girl Scouts!

Georgia/South Carolina State Day

The members of Greater Atlanta Day Alumnae Chapter had a wonderful weekend with alumnae and collegians from Georgia, South Carolina (and a few other places) at the Kappa Delta Georgia/South Carolina State Day. We want to thank all of those who attended and we hope you had as much fun as we did.
We were able to share our weekend with Beth Langford, our National President and Jody Jenkins Corry, our National Vice President for Collegians. They brought messages pertaining to our sisterhood and showed us a few good dance moves!
A highlight of this two day event was our keynote speaker, Patricia Barnes, better known as Sister Schubert. She is a very inspiring speaker and we enjoyed the opportunity to get an autographed copy of her latest cookbook. Proceeds from the sale of her cookbook help to support an orphanage.
